The PSN attack and who owns your PS3?

Trixter had told a public IRC server that Sony used an outdated version of web server applications.
Sony almost certainly has employees present on these IRC channels since they are open to all, and this is a chat room on the PS3 development.

Thus, in making these statements on IRC, Trixter wanted Sony to take account and update our servers to protect against faults.

Subsequently, he asserts that in reading logs of queries made on a Sony server, it was determined that a hacker used a software program that tests all the existing faults to see if there is one. This kind of program is for beginners as it makes a lot of queries that can be detected by software type IDS (Intrusion Detection System).
